Projects

Well, here are the latest projects.

The first is 100% alpaca rovings dyed by yours truely. I bought 5 lbs of the combed rovings and need to do something with them as a gal can only spin so much! I am calling this colorway 'Misty Water Lily'. I dyed a small strip I plan to spin into a sample. Then I will be listing the rovings on Ebay or Etsy. I might try Etsy as I have not done that before:)

And here we have one of the Old Shale stitch socks made with the hand dyed yarn I got from Kat in England! I really like how these turned out. I was hoping I would finally get to wear a pair of my own socks, but some one sent me a funky sock exchange sheet. So, I must sigh and part with these cuties once they are done:( Oh well, I am sure she will enjoy them!

I love the fibre! And am really chuffed to see that the socks came out so well, this is the first item I have seen knitted up in my new found passion for hand dying!

I love your avatar of the certa sheep! I got the statue at Lowes last week. They have another one of a sheep laying down that I might get this week:)

Other Fun Facts..................

I taught myself to knit by watching a woman while on a flight from Scotland to the USA in 1996.

I taught myself how to spin yarn Feb 15th, 2007. I think I've done fairly well:)

'Lunabud' is a combination of two dogs' names I was loved by, Buddy and Luna:)
