Painting a Fury

Whew! Talk about a whirl wind week end. We have been working on the new home this week end. Just to give you the low down about the house. The dining room was a horrendous baby poo yellow color, the foyer was peachy tan, the kitchen was dark green, Master bedroom was dark colonial blue, master bath has a horrible wall-paper that is suppose to resemble greek columns, the other full bath is painted a blinding NEON yellow..... I could go on and on.....lol

We are having an absolute blast fixing our new home up. We are a touch on the tired side at the end of the day when we go home, but it is definitely 'a good thing' as Martha would say.

Miss Piper came to help us for a few days. The pic is from my cell phone camera so it is not very good.
The authritis in her back hips is flaring up, so she just came Friday and Saturday. Sunday she stayed at the old home and today we stopped by our Brother-in-Laws veterinary practice to pick up samples of a medicine to try as the glucosamine and condroitin sulfate just are not helping as much as they should. I am hoping that we see some improvement tomorrow morning in her joint movement. Poor girl, it just makes me want to cry to see her in pain. Hopefully, the move will go easy so that she is not put under too much stress.

What celebrity is Miss Piper?

What celebrity would your pet be? I'm Angelina Jolie! Find out at Dogster.com

Offer Accepted!!

We haggled back and forth from the initial offer to the final offer. After two weeks our offer was finally accepted on a two story 2500 square foot home in Nicholasville KY! It has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths (2 full, 1 half), living room, kitchen, and dining room, with a huge partially finished basement!

We are so darn excited and thankful that we both finally agreed on a house!
