Little Sugar on the side.....

We had an unfortunate series of events unfold yesterday morning. No details at this point about who, when, where or why. It was just a weird (for us) and unfortunate (not for us) day.

You're probably wondering what this post has to do with any shape or form of 'Sugar'. Well, I promise it does, because a sweet little dog, Sugar, has been camped out at my house since last night due to an unfortunate incident. I didn't know what her name was until after calling the Vet on her rabies tag this morning, but I kept telling my friend who is helping me place her in a new home that she truly is the sweetest little dog I have ever been around. I just keep thinking it's kind of funny how I kept going on about how she was the sweetest little dog w/ the sweetest little personality. Then find out her name actually is 'Sugar'.

Wish I could keep her, but Miss Piper just will not allow it. She's too old and set in her ways. Just a big ol' crotchety rug. OH, AND DON'T YOU PEEPS START SAYING YOU WANT HER..... We are pretty sure she will be going to her new home tomorrow:) Have to insert a big ol' THANK YOU here to my friend Christy with 'Friends of the Animals of Jessamine County'.

Head Shot... Believe it or not, I think this little gal is actually cuter than her pictures. Hard to believe is it not:)

Piper ate her bone and wants Sugar's bone. Hard to see in the big ol' bear carpets facial expression, but she's looking at me like what the heck Mom!?! Why are you fussing at me for? All chew toys are mine, all mine...lol.... Just the look on her big ol' bear face what like 'why am I being fussed at? I just want the bone. I just don't get it'

The bone was taken away a short while after this picture was taken. It just caused way too much drama in the house.

Really wish I could have kept this sugary little pixie, but it just isn't going to happen. Piper is a bit overly aggressive over food, toys, water, etc. Luckily though, she will be going to her forever home maybe tomorrow. Until then, I'll enjoy her sweet little personality:)

I taught myself how to spin yarn Feb 15th, 2007. I think I've done fairly well:)

'Lunabud' is a combination of two dogs' names I was loved by, Buddy and Luna:)
