FINISHED... FINALLY!

This is a long over due project that was finally finished. Took me way too long, but the results were worth it!

Crocheted Cloche Hat with Knit I-cord Trim

Hand dyed alpaca blended with firestar. Handspun into a fingering weight single then crocheted into the cloche hat. White knit I-cord trim is hand blended merino/silk and also spun as fingering weight thick and thin.

Ta-dah! Finished Finally!

Thanks Bea:) I've been so lax on posting to the blog. I really like how this one turned out. I have basic crochet skills, so there was a whole heck of a lot of frogging involved in this hat. Would get frustrated, rip it out and start over...lol Did not bother writing down the pattern as it changed so many times! I am very happy with the results though:)

Love it! I just checked out your store, too! Oh how I wish the Paycheck Fairy would come more often...so many tantalizing tidbits.

Thank you very much! I really love how this turned out:) I might just have to re-do this one and get a pattern going for it:)

Other Fun Facts..................

I taught myself to knit by watching a woman while on a flight from Scotland to the USA in 1996.

I taught myself how to spin yarn Feb 15th, 2007. I think I've done fairly well:)

'Lunabud' is a combination of two dogs' names I was loved by, Buddy and Luna:)
