Better late than never.

I have no excuse for not wishing blogland Merry Christmas and Happy New Year on time.  Well, I do have one good excuse!  My Brother, Beau & his family came home for the Holidays all the way from JAPAN!  It truly was a bless for all of us as this is the first time any of us except for Mom of course have met little Luke!  See, Beau & Jen are stationed in Japan and my littlest nephew Luke was born there!

Here are a few pics and videos of the Lukester on our family vaca in Pensacola.
Just off the plane at our house in KY on New Years.
Hot tub Lukie!

Playing pass the baby at dinner!

We shop.  Luke sleeps!

YO!  Where's my Gabba, Gabba!

Oh, and that is ice in the bird bath.   I debated adding one more picture of the manatee that had frozen to death due to the cold weather, but decided it was a tad to graphic for general audiences.

OH Yeah!  Happy Belated Christmas & New Year!

The waiting game.....

La-Da-Dee-La-Da-Da........

Some big news and some little news all in one post here. Will start w/ the big news. ........

I'm an Auntie for the 8th time! My newest nephew was born in Japan on Saturday. I haven't seen pictures yet, but Mom assures me he perfect in every way. She is already devising ways to kidnap him back to the States...lol Just kidding there, but I'm sure the little fellow knows that his Glammy loves him very much! And yep, I said Glammy. Mom has decided she is not Granny, she is Glammy and does it ever fit her to a T!

Next in line is the waiting game I like to play prior to an ordered wheel arriving. Sometimes Louet gets a little backed up and it takes wheels a little bit longer to get here that expected. The wheel coming is an S17 that I will be painting with cute little turtles and then re-packaging to be shipped to Russia! Yep, you heard me correct. I'll be shipping it to Russia after it is painted. How fun is that!?!

So while I have been waiting, I finished up a few little projects from here there and every where.

The Cowl is finally finished... Free Pattern coming later:)

Space Cadet Fingerless Mittens are Finished. Pattern also coming later!

And It wouldn't be a proper Lunabud Post w/ out a picture of Little Kitty who is not quite so little any more. Here he is grabbing my pajama button.

From there, he likes to try and pull my buttons off. He really is a nutty Little Kitty...lol

If you see this face you can rest assured the Kitty is up to absolutely NO GOOD!

Other Fun Facts..................

I taught myself to knit by watching a woman while on a flight from Scotland to the USA in 1996.

I taught myself how to spin yarn Feb 15th, 2007. I think I've done fairly well:)

'Lunabud' is a combination of two dogs' names I was loved by, Buddy and Luna:)
